Renee Hibbert is a fine art portrait photographer born in Sydney, NSW Australia. Growing up on the Mid North Coast surrounded by beautiful beaches and creativity, Renee spent her teens and twenties working as a musician. She graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Arts and Teaching in 2007 from the University of Newcastle.
In 2009, Renee and her daughter moved to a remote city in Northern China, a move that would begin a four year journey to the far reaches of the world. It was on this adventure that Renee picked up her first DSLR camera, desperately wanting to document the twists and turns of her adventures.
In 2014, she returned to her home town of Newcastle NSW and began delving deeper into the world of portrait photography. Through her images Renee tells stories of darkness and beauty, fragility and strength.
Renee shoots with Nikon cameras and lenses.
